The Kindergarten Museum's exhibitions are closed from June 26 to August 13, 2023

The Kindergarten Museum will be quiet for weeks 26–32, being closed to the audience from June 26 to August 13, 2023. During the maintenance break, the Kindergarten Museum will carry out proactive conservation work on the museum objects in the exhibition spaces, as well as a major cleaning of the exhibition spaces. The museum staff also will have a little summer vacation.

Even though the Kindergarten Museum's exhibitions are closed to the public, it is worth stopping by the Ebeneser house during the summer season as well. There is a playground in the yard of the house, which is used by families during their free time. You can get to the playground by entering the front yard of the Ebeneser house from the pedestrian gate and from there through a separate gate to the playground. The mural created by artist Essi Ruuskanen in collaboration with Helsinki city early childhood education center Ebeneser, the Kindergarten Museum and Urban Art Helsinki borders summer games and takes the imagination to new dimensions. At the same time, you can also feel the rest of the yard and garden of the Ebeneser house and dream of its transformation into a functioning, communal urban space.
