Guided tours for student groups

We plan guided tours for students considering the group's wishes, course-specific orientations and orientation in the field of early childhood education.

The guided tour can include a lecture on the history of kindergarten work and workshop-type activities. Guidance can be emphasized, for example, on the history of kindergarten work and its turning points, play, pedagogy or spatiality and operational environment.

Guided tours for student groups are held on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The price includes guidance and entrance fees:
50 € / 1–15 people
90 € / 16–25 people
150 € / 26–40 people

Students are also welcome to the Kindergarten museum for a self-guided tour. A package of materials (available at the momenti only in Finnish) designed specifically for early childhood students will guide you through the museum.

The price of a self-guided visit is 30 € reception fee + entrance fees (4 € student / under 18-years-old free / Museum card). One teacher can accompany the group with free entry.

"Absolutely a wonderful museum! Lots of great and interesting things to learn. We had a nice time and learned new things from the past."

"The educational visit here was informative. It could be a good destination for a group of children too! Thank you."

"Thank you! Great guide! We learnt a lot!"

"I am a kindergarten teacher who came from Turkey for my Erasmus internship. This place is full of inspiration... I was back in time and almost crying. Seeing directly Froebel's gifts and things were soooo amazing. Now I cannot express all of my feelings about this building. Can you imagine that I am in the centre of education!? I am so happy! Thank you very much."
