The core of the library collection is the Ebeneser library collection. The collection includes e.g. literature about influential education philosophers from different eras, especially Friedrich Froebel and Johan Heinrich Pestalozz. The library has collection of psychological and religious literature, as well as music, play, craft and children's books used in kindergartens. The collection also includes literature owned by Hanna Rothman and Elisabeth Alander.

In principle, the material in the library of the Kindergarten Museum is not borrowed, but it is possible to browse at the museum.
