Renting the premise

Are you looking for an atmospheric milieu close to the center of Helsinki to hold a party? Are you planning to organize an educational event and need an inspiring environment? It is possible to rent the unique historical spaces of the Kindergarten Museum for your private event!

We rent the hall of the Kindergarten Museum and the Headmistress's office for various events. We offer the possibility of a one-time hourly-based rental but also for a longer-term rental. The event must be related to early childhood education, the cultural field, general educational work or artistic work.

The hall of the Kindergarten museum is ideal, for example, for seminars, lectures, educational events, and parties. The premises have a white screen and a projector with light audio equipment. The hall has a capacity of 50-people. We rent the premises outside the public opening hours of the museum. It is also possible to include the use of kitchen facilities in the rental, which makes it possible to, for example, arrange coffee serving for your event. For example, training for teaching and educational professionals, dissertation defense parties, birthdays, orchestral rehearsals, and filmed distance concerts have taken place in the hall of the Kindergarten museum. The hall works perfectly as an environment for training days for the staff of the early childhood education units!

The Headmistress's office offers atmospheric and unique space. It is possible to bring a white screen, a projector and audio equipment to the office. The room is for 10-people. It is also possible to include the use of kitchen facilities in the rental, which makes it possible to arrange, for example, coffee serving for the event. Visitors have held several meetings and short educational training in the Headmistress's office. The office room also serves as extra shared space and can be rented together with the hall area.

Rental for the hall of Kindergarten Museum is € 50 / hour on weekdays. The visitors must pay full hourly rent for a starting hour. We determine the rental price of the Headmistress's room separately on a case-by-case basis. Weekend rental according to a separate agreement and price list.
