Recognition award for work done for the benefit of children

The recognition award is either granted to an individual, several individuals, or organizations that have significantly promoted the interests and well-being of children. The total grant prize is 3,000 euros. The foundation awards the grant in even years. The board of the foundation decides on the grantee and the amount of the award.

In 2018, Lappset Group Oy received the Ebeneser recognition award for its significant development work of the early childhood education operating environment. The company's domesticity and the quality and versatility of the products were supporting factors in the selection process. The vision of the company's operations as an ethical and environmentally friendly company and a long significant work in product development was also important supporting factor for the final choice. The chairman of the board of the Ebeneser Foundation, Inkeri Ruokonen, presented the award to the director of Lappset Group Oy, Erkki Ikäheimo.
